Shin Shin Operation Teams

Shin Shin's operation teams, are divided into eight sectors, including finance, human resources, community outreach, advocacy and strategy development, educational programs, facility improvements, school construction, and IT.

The facility improvement is a follow-up program for existing schools after construction, while educational sector is focused on improving the quality of teaching, providing assistance in teacher training, library/reading room programs, essay contest, as well as computer labs and E-Learning pilot programs. The total team leaders are more than 50, each responsible for several sub-groups that also consist of group leaders and members. The total number volunteers has reached 200 or so.

In addition, Shin Shin has more than 20 regional managers (RMs), because more than 300 Shin Shin schools that are distributed in 26 provinces and municipalities, require a large amount of daily tasks to ensure the timely communication with the schools and local overseas Chinese offices. Therefore, Shin Shin designated one RM for each province, and in some cases, assigned additional school managers to share the workload with the RM of a province that has many schools, such as Hunan, where located 60 Shin Shin schools. RMs serve as a bridge between Shin Shin and local overseas Chinese offices and schools, to notify them about programs, and to keep in touch with school principals, and even teachers, in order to timely receive feedback information, and report the progress or status to donors.
