Audit Committee Chair: Michelle Hu

Michelle Hu has considerable experience in Accounting, Finance and Investment gained throughout her career, and has devoted her time to the Asian American community in the Bay Area, supporting education and local government for the last two decades.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from National Taiwan University. She also holds a Master's degree in Education from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign as well as an MBA from San Jose State University.

For over fifteen years, Michelle has worked as a Stockbroker and an Investment Advisor at First Allied Securities. Before joining the brokerage industry, she worked for Avantek and Varian Associates in Finance and Cost Accounting.

In the community, she has been a Board Member of Asian American for Good Government (AAGG), Co-President of Asian American Parent Association (AAPA), and served on the Steering Committee of the Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI). She also Co-Chaired Cupertino's inaugural Lunar New Year Unity Parade. For her civic contributions, Michelle has received multiple awards including the Asian American Hero Award from the Supervisor of Santa Clara County in 2002, the Cupertino Mayor's Proclamation in 2003, and the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce Bridge Award for Lunar New Year Unity Parade in 2004.

Jinshu Son

Born and raised in Hong Kong, later studied in Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, and received Bachelor degree in electrical and electronics engineering. After graduation, worked in Intel and FujiXerox in Japan and Atmel in the United States specialized in semiconductor and integrated circuit design.

After retirement, worked as a volunteer at Cupertino community as a teacher of English to serve new immigrants in the community.
